26-27: Explore military life from the War of 1812 to Desert Storm as you tour the All-American Honor Guard living history encampments on the grounds of the historic Gordonsville Exchange Hotel on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 12 Noon to 4 p.m. The event will also feature live cannon and musket fire demonstrations by the Staunton Artillery. downtown window competition. Saturday November 29th, Small Business Saturday, shoppers and visitors will have an opportunity to vote on their favorite window display at a special kiosk set up at the Gordonsville Visitor Center. The winner will be announced at the Memorial Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Sunday, November 30th. All votes will be entered into a raffle, the prize for which will be a generous sampler basket containing items from participating Gordonsville businesses.
