Memorial Christmas Tree Lighting

**UPDATED - November 19, 2020**

The 2020 Town of Gordonsville Memorial Tree Lighting is scheduled for Sunday, November 29, 2020, at 5:45 pm.  You may view the program for the memorial tree lighting here.

Because of COVID-19, this year's event will be much smaller in scale--there will be no performances by the Brushwood's School of Dance or the Gordon Barbour Elementary School Singing Bulldogs. Santa will also not be at the event. The event will be a simple reading of the memorial names, two songs sung by a local soloist, and lighting of the tree.

Due to the recent restrictions on gatherings imposed by Governor Northam's amendment to Executive Orders 63 and 67, participation at the event is limited to 25 people, and all who gather will be required to wear a face covering or mask. The event will also be live-streamed on the Town of Gordonsville Facebook page.

The lights on the tree are in memory of loved ones who are no longer with us during the holiday season.  If you have questions concerning this festive celebration, please contact the Town Clerk at 540-832-2233.
