In response to COVID-19 concerns, the Town of Gordonsville is postponing its Sesquicentennial event scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2021. “The situation with COVID-19 is changing daily,” stated Mayor Bob Coiner. “We want our Sesquicentennial to be an event where everyone in the community can come and celebrate safely. In addition, we only have limited indoor seating available at this time in case of inclement weather. Our goal going forward will be to schedule a date when all can attend safely, and we also have full capacity indoor seating available as an option.”
At this time, Gordonsville’s Famous Fried Chicken Festival and Chicken Run, scheduled for the same day, will go on as scheduled.
