After due consideration of the rain and wind forecast for Friday evening and Saturday as the remnants of Tropical Storm IAN overtake our area, and the potential impact on safety of the community, the Town has decided to CANCEL the 2022 Fried Chicken Festival and 5K/1K races. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The festival is billed as a rain or shine event and there are no refunds given.  However, vendors who were signed up for this year's event will be provided with a space, free of charge, in the 2023 festival.  For more information, please contact David Solomon, Visitor Center Director, at 540-832-1735.
