Board of Zoning Appeals

Overview

The Board of Zoning Appeals duties include acting on requests for appeals from any order, requirement, decision or determination made by an administrative officer in the administration. They also have the power to authorize variances to the Town’s Land Development (zoning) Ordinance.

The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) consists of five members appointed by the Circuit Court for terms of five years. All members of the BZA are private citizens and must be residents of the Town of Gordonsville.

  • Second floor of Town Hall, 112 South Main St. 
  • Meetings are held on an as-needed basis
