Town Treasurer

The Treasurer's Office is charged with the responsibility of coordinating and performing all accounting requirements and administrative duties as assigned by Gordonsville's Town Council and Town Manager.

The duties of the Treasurer's Department include - processing, preparing, maintaining, monitoring and accounting for all cash receipts, deposits, bills incurred, disbursements, accounting journals and ledgers for all funds, monthly financial statements, budgeting transactions, utility and tax billing functions, vehicle license fees, water billing, banking and investing transactions, assisting the independent auditors with the annual audit, responding to customer inquiries, resolving customer concerns, and assisting in safeguarding the Town's assets.  The Town Treasurer also serves as agent to the Maplewood Cemetery Board of Trustees.

Our citizens are and will always be our main priority as we strive to offer 100% customer satisfaction. We are here to offer help and guidance to those who have questions or concerns; our doors are always open to serve our town and those who live in it. 

Our Location

The Treasurer's Office is located in Gordonsville Town Hall at 112 S. Main Street in Gordonsville. Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The  mailing address for the Treasurer's Office (and all Town correspondence) is P.O. Box 276, Gordonsville, VA  22942
